Nonhlanhla Precious Mahlangu (born January 12, 1999), professionally known as The Real Prechly, is a multifaceted South African artist based in Johannesburg.
As a talented DJ, vocalist, and record producer, she has carved a niche for herself in the vibrant amapiano music scene.

Renowned for her captivating dance moves and innovative production style, The Real Prechly has made a significant impact on the music industry. Her debut single, "Nyakaza Haibo," took the digital world by storm in 2023, becoming one of TikTok's most trending sounds and inspiring a wave of dance challenges."

The Real Prechly's meteoric rise began in 2023 when she enrolled at Mapentane Music Academy to hone her DJ skills. Soon after, she joined Kago Artist Management, securing gigs in South Africa's competitive music scene.
Her breakthrough performance at Moloko Menlyn, spinning "Ke Dipatje" by Thato The Human, sent shockwaves on Instagram. This momentum propelled her into music production, collaborating with Ice Beats Slide, Sbuda Maleather, and EeQue on the hit single "Nyakaza Haibo." This anthem anchored her debut EP, "Lotus Flower Bomb" (November 2023).
The EP's standout track, "A Collision of Two Worlds," conquered TikTok and Nigeria, catching the attention of international superstar Shallipopi. Their explosive remix,
"A Collision of Two Worlds 2.0" (February 2024), became one of the most trending Amapiano collaborations between South African and Nigerian artists.

Early Life and Background

Nonhlanhla was born in Ekangala, a quaint village north of Pretoria, on the outskirts of Mpumalanga. She was raised by her parents, Solomon Mahlangu and the late Zanele Nkosi, in a family deeply rooted in faith.
Nonhlanhla's musical journey began in church, where her mother's active involvement led her to join the choir. This nurturing environment fostered her love for music.
After completing her matriculation in 2018, Nonhlanhla relocated to Pretoria to pursue Mechanical Engineering N6 at Denver College. While studying, she worked at a Brooklyn lounge, where her passion for Amapiano music blossomed.
In 2019, Nonhlanhla co-founded "The Blazers," an Amapiano dance group, alongside friends. This experience ignited her interest in DJing, prompting her to enroll in DJ lessons at Mapentane Music Academy.
Thus began Nonhlanhla's DJ career, marked by dedication, creativity, and an unwavering love for Amapiano music.
